Olaf character meet and greet Disney World Cool Kids Summer 2026

What Is Cool Kids’ Summer at Disney World? Everything You Need to Know

Summer is officially in full swing at Walt Disney World, and Disney has packed the season with new experiences, limited-time entertainment, and some genuinely good deals. Cool Kids’ Summer runs May 26 through September 8, 2026, across all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and the water parks — with a few experiences sticking around even longer. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening where.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom — Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station

The biggest debut of the summer is happening at Animal Kingdom, where Bluey and Bingo have made their Walt Disney World debut. After riding the Wildlife Express Train out to Conservation Station, families can play games inspired by the show — including Keepy Uppy — meet and dance with Bluey and Bingo, and discover animals native to Australia at Jumping Junction. This experience is staying beyond the summer, so it’s not a now-or-never situation. Plus it seems like the lines are getting shorter since the Virtual Queue has already been discontinued.

EPCOT — GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall

GoofyCore is exactly what it sounds like: Goofy running a DJ-led dance party with a side of organized chaos. Kids can join in on freestyle dancing, Loopy Limbo, and a game called Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks that turns classic playground activities into something bigger and sillier. It’s high energy, it’s free with park admission, and it’s a genuinely good break in the middle of a long EPCOT day.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios — Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!

A brand-new live show arrives at Hollywood Studios on May 26, inspired by the Disney Jr. series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+. Mickey and Minnie are throwing a party, but their pals haven’t shown up yet — so guests help track down Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto through songs, interactive moments, and plenty of dancing. The Disney Jr. Zone outside also features character meet-and-greets with Sofia the First and Bitsy from SuperKitties. This one is staying beyond summer, so it’ll be a regular part of the Hollywood Studios lineup going forward.

Magic Kingdom — Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue

For this summer only, the Diamond Horseshoe hosts a Toy Story-themed live show with Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and friends. It’s a hoedown — songs, dancing, games, and interactive activities built for younger kids. The Diamond Horseshoe is an underrated indoor venue at Magic Kingdom, which makes this a smart option on a hot afternoon or when rain rolls in. Also worth noting: the recharged Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is now open with new interactive targets, updated ride vehicles, a new support character named Buddy, and post-ride photo memories.

Disney Springs — DescenDANCE Party x Camp Rock Jam

On select evenings at the Marketplace, a DJ-led outdoor dance party brings together music from Descendants and Camp Rock. It runs every Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. starting May 26 — free to attend, no park ticket required. A solid option if you’re building an evening around Disney Springs dining.

Water Parks — Character Appearances at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon

Both water parks are open this summer, and each gets a seasonal character: Goofy in beach mode at Blizzard Beach, and Stitch causing his usual trouble at Typhoon Lagoon. Guests staying at any Disney Resort hotel also receive free admission to one water park on their check-in day — a perk worth factoring into your accommodation decision.

Resort Perks Worth Knowing About

A few extras that apply if you’re staying on property. All Disney Resort hotel guests get 30 minutes of early theme park entry every day, with surprise character appearances during that window this summer. Guests staying at four specific resorts — Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans Riverside — get an expanded Cool Kids’ Summer experience including character visits with set times, poolside entertainment, campfire sing-alongs, and curated kids’ libraries from Disney Publishing.

Deals Running This Summer

A few offers worth flagging for trip planners. The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket starts at $109 per day for visits through October 3, 2026 — one park per day across all four parks. There’s also a free dining plan offer available when booking a 4-night Walt Disney Travel Company package with Park Hopper tickets, for stays between late June and early October. Florida residents can save up to 35% on resort rooms, and Annual Passholders up to 40%, for stays of four nights or more through October 3. Details and booking at DisneyWorld.com/Summer.

Is Cool Kids’ Summer Worth Planning Around?

If you’re visiting with younger kids, yes — the combination of new live shows, character experiences, and resort perks adds real value to a summer trip without any additional ticket cost. For Disney Adults or couples, the entertainment slate skews young, but the deals are legitimate, and summer brings longer park hours.
